Resources & PDFs

Share documents on your Resources page. Two sources: your own PDFs and Valmark PDFs. The steps below keep it simple.


Custom PDFs (yours)

  1. Go to yoursite.com/studio and click Custom PDFs.
  2. Click + Create.
  3. Fill Title, pick a Category, upload the File (PDF), add a short description if you want.
  4. Click Publish. The file appears on your Resources page.

Guidelines: PDF only, keep under ~10MB, use clear titles (example: “Client Welcome Packet”).


Valmark PDFs (pre-approved)

  1. Click Valmark PDFs in the sidebar.
  2. Check the box next to each PDF you want to show. You don’t upload these.
  3. Choose a Display Style (grid or list are simplest).
  4. Click Publish.

You can select them, but titles/content come from Valmark and can’t be edited.


Categories and Display

  • Custom PDFs: you set the category when you create them. Use the same names consistently.
  • Valmark PDFs: categories are already set.
  • Your Resources page shows both together, organized by category.

Edit or Remove

  • Edit a Custom PDF: open it in Custom PDFs, change title/category/description or upload a new file, then Publish.
  • Hide a Valmark PDF: uncheck it in Valmark PDFs, then Publish.
  • Delete a Custom PDF: open it, click Delete, confirm.

Quick Checks

  • After publishing, visit your Resources page to confirm downloads work.
  • Keep file sizes small for faster loading.
  • Remove outdated documents regularly.
